This subsidiary is a factory operation that carries out all functions associated with material and apparel manufacturing including spinning, dyeing, weaving, finishing, and sewing. All of the technologies accumulated over the years by the Daidoh Limited Group has been transferred to the facility. Presently, the facility manufactures high-quality men's and ladies’ apparel by using the world's most advanced equipment and technologies. On an annual basis, 1.6 million meters of fabric or 120,000 suits are produced at the facility.
The well-managed firm has been named as one of the “52 Most Important Firms” in 1997 out of a candidate base comprising of 16,000 Shanghai-based foreign investment firms. This certification, which is supported by the Chinese government, is given to firms that contribute greatly to the Chinese economy. In addition, the subsidiary also received an “AA Rating” in 1999 which allows for it to receive a variety of preferential benefits relating to improvement trade. Finally, the facility was certified an “Advanced Technology Firm” in 2000 by the State Council for its advanced factory management techniques and technologies.
Daidoh Limited (Shanghai) also established a branch office in Beijing and now operates three ready-made and custom made suit pilot shops: MillionTex-Z Kerry Center, MillionTex-Z Lufthansa and MillionTex-Z One World shop. |
