It is our generation's responsibility to use the limited resources we have wisely so that the earth's environment can be protected through the 21st century.

With this in mind, DAIDOH LIMITED jointly established a wool recycling system called “ECONETWORK” in 1998 with Japan Wool Textile Co., Ltd. and Daitoh Woolen Spinning & Weaving Co., Ltd. The textile recovered from this system is reused effectively as a resource for new products.

Presently, the number of clothing retailers that participates in this program has exceeded 50 companies. As a result, approximately 1,925 tons of wool products have been recovered over the past five years.

As the managing company for the ECONETWORK system, DAIDOH LIMITED plans to further spread the word about the goals and workings of the system and expand the number of participating members.
